Stopping first at beautiful Emily Gap in the perfect, early morning light, we then head down the track to stroll around Corroboree Rock; an impressive formation traditionally visited only by Aboriginal men. Then off to the stunning quartzite cliffs of Trephina Gorge, dropping in to hug the Giant Ghost Gum along the way! The gorge offers a 2km circuit hike with incredible views, as well as an alternative stroll up the sandy river bed between the towering cliffs of the gorge. To cool down, we’ll wind up at the quirky, historical Ross River Resort for lunch and a cuppa or a cold beer, then a scenic drive back to Alice Springs via Jessie Gap.
