The Best time to visit Alice Springs
Winter is prime time for a Red Centre adventure. Days are generally dry and warm while nights are cold and crisp. The weather is highly variable out here, but broadly speaking, if you visit between the end of April and the end of September, you’re guaranteed to not boil to death, and there's less chance of being carried away by overly friendly bush flies!
Either side of winter sees warmer days and nights, while June, July and August get average temperatures of 24oC during the day and zero to 10oC Â at night. Perfect for hiking, sightseeing, rugging up in front of a camp fire, and gazing at the impossibly endless blanket of glistening stars on one of our charter tours from Alice Springs.
